Time...
for a new journal!
---
The last days I have been putting together my traditional end of year review -
Highlights from the last year - 2009 -
I think the most important things for me were our cruise and starting back at the hunting magazine.
----

Come to think of it ( happy new year to you all )- this would be the first year,
since 1809 that the first part is double the second part - 20-10 -
I remember seeing 2010 in 1984 -- well -- 1984's prediction didn't quite come true,
( even though Big Brother IS watching us ) - and we haven't send any manned missions to Jupiter yet.
(( that we know of ))

This first movie at the cinema this year for us was AVATAR - ( we didn't go to the cinema at all last year )
It rocked! - It amazed - it moved - it was brilliant... bring on the oscars - for this powerfull new benchmark in cinematic history. It took me a while to adjust to the 3D glasses, but when I did I was in the zone!

Bring on more (quality) 3D movies! -

A new year -
new beginnings...
new music - new images -
all exciting again!!

with new regards,

eRiQ

The last week has been very busy - the normal activities around the new magazine layout plus our other regular clients. PLUS -a big calendar project that we have been taken on to design for free - to support the SPCA.

A wonderful project organised by Deb Bodger, why owns Pet Partners Ltd, a professional and respected pet minding service which operates in Tauranga. And Sue Murray, who's passion is dogs and sharing with people a simple and natural way of how to communicate with them.

The dog photos have been taken by Trilby Rising, a Tauranga-based photographer specialising in pet portraits and equestrian sports.
It has been a nice experience and the calendar will be printed next week - ready to hit the streets for $15.

If you want to order one - let me know ...
---------------------------------------------
In other news:

- NZ weather is weird - a few cold mornings again - when will the summer be here?
- It has been 4 weeks ago now that we shifted X-StatiQ from home to our new office in the NZ Outdoor Hunting office.
- We have landed the contract to do their magazine and have spend most of the time revamping it.
- Finally watched all 4 Alien movies with QQ
- Thinking of getting Windows 7 for my TouchSmart. - working on that and an IMac at the same time!!

Can't think of anything more - I am tired like a dog having spend all this time working on the mag, regular clients and this Doggie calendar. Nearly time for a nice long weekend - Hee haa -

With regards,

doggie Q

42*42*42
42*42
42
(forty-two) is the natural number following 41 and preceding 43.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

42 is the number with which God creates the Universe in Kabalistic tradition
It's also the answer to life the universe and everything...

It will be 42 years ago this Monday, that little Erik Albertus Quaadgras
came into this "mostly harmless" world...
FORTY-TWO!!! -
42... The angle in degrees for which a rainbow appears.
The rainbow connection (the lovers, the dreamers - and ME)

From here - to there:

No no no -- -
all little baptist boys
better not look at today's date upside down - as it will be 6.6.6....

The ninth day of the ninth month of the (2000)ninth year.... 9 - 9 - 9
What better day then this to crawl from under my lurking rock. My last entry was in April ...
That's 138 days, today included... Or 4 months and 16 days... or 19 weeks (rounded down)...

As for the reasons I have not posted for a while, I quote someone I know:
"Time is the enemy of every business person, too many things to do and having to prioritize to ensure that the clients work gets done before my own. But really I should make some time to write something. It is valuable to me as writing helps clear the mind. I should post even if it is just short like this post."

I have also started a bloQ - attached to our newly re-vamped website - [link] please check it out and leave a comment! So that I know SOMEONE is actually reading it and I am not the invisible man... hehehe -

Lots of things to happen this month (including my birthday coming up on the 21st) - but more about that in my next journal. I just wanted to make sure there was an update of sorts!

With warm regards

eRiQ

9-9-9 facts:
September 9, 2009, is the 252nd day of the year, 252 adds to 9, and 09-09-09 = 27.
09-09-09 is also the last of the single-digits dates for quite a while - 1,001 years to be precise.
It is also the upside-down number of "the beast" - satan = 666, of course.
The day itself falls on a Wednesday and both Wednesday & September have 9 letters.
